Making the website for Aktivní Litovel

  1. Process

    I listened to the client’s requirements, and together we designed and then built the solution that speaks best to the target audience, users and visitors alike.

  2. Ongoing communication and changes

    We stayed in touch the whole time. The client saw the site while it was still in progress, and I worked their feedback in as we went, not at the very end.

  3. Result

    The result is a fast, clear website with a CMS.

  4. Fine-tuning after launch

    After launch I fine-tuned the site based on how visitors and the venue staff actually use it.

Jan Páleník

I design and code websites myself, from the first sketch in Figma to launch. I’ve built sites for the municipal sports venues in Litovel, a sports centre in Most and school director Marek Adler. Before I open Figma, I work out what a visitor should do on the site, and build the whole design around that.

I’m from the generation that learned to code by hand. So I know exactly what’s happening under the hood, and I never work blind. I use AI to speed things up, but the eye for design is still my own.

I study at the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics at VŠE, so I stay close to IT and know the technology from the inside. But sometimes a website on its own isn’t enough. That’s why I work alongside a capable marketer, and after launch we get the site in front of the people who should see it.
